In Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring

Weekend family trip to San Diego! At the beach... Seashells... Scenery... "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,  The world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas,  And established it upon the waters." -Psalm 24:1-2 There was a hole in the ground that was connected to the ocean. There was a stream in it, and water flowed in and out with the waves.  It was pretty wide - maybe 3 or 4 feet at its width. Catherine decided to go for a challenge and jumped across! Tide pools... There were lots of plants, snails, and little crabs in the tide pools.  I wrote my name in the sand, just for fun. Everything in God's creation is so unique! On January 31st, we rode the boat from Taiwan to Fuzhou! The boat we rode was big and spacious.  Unlike an airplane, you can easily walk around, and there is lots of leg room. There is even a place on the boat to buy food! The view outside the window of the boat was very beautiful! Here is the view when we were about to depart from Taiwan: There were instructions in the seat pocket about what to do in an emergency: Thankfully, we didn't have an emergency on the boat! Below is my sister's bunny sitting on the seat: This is Theodore and Catherine on the boat: Anabel on the boat: After the boat departed from the harbor, I fell asleep. Two hours later, I awoke to the voice of the announcer  saying, "We have just passed the midline between the waters of Taiwan to the waters of China." The boat ride was pretty smooth. About 2 hours later, we arrived in Fuzhou!

We have already returned from Israel, but there is still so much more to write about from our time in Israel! I will be writing a couple more posts about Israel this week(s). After our time in Jerusalem, we spent a week in Tel Aviv. On one of the days in Tel Aviv, we rented a car and drove to the north of Israel, all the way to Galilee! On the way to Galilee, we visited our friends, the Hydes. We had a delicious lunch together and a wonderful time of fellowship. We were very encouraged by their testimonies. They have a ministry in Israel. It is called "Heart of God", and you can visit their website here:  https://heartofg-d.org/ .  After we visited the Hydes, we drove to the sea of Galilee, also known as Tiberias.  Many things in the Bible happened here.  Jesus grew up around this area.  It is also here that Jesus called 4 of his disciples while they were fishing: "And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee , He saw Simon and Andrew his brother ...
