Tuesday, June 16th 2020 We are in Arizona! We were so blessed to be able to visit the Grand Canyon! "O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—" -Psalm 104:26 My family at the Grand Canyon! Theodore, Anabel, and I (we took off masks just for the photo) The Raven/hawk at the beginning of the 5-minute trail to see the Grand Canyon. Rock formations. Freckles the bunny! Surely, these wonders of nature points to God! Something as majestic as the Grand Canyon could not have come about by chance, which proves that God is real. He is the Creator, from whom and through whom all things exist. May His name be praised and glorified!

At the Beach in San Diego!

Weekend family trip to San Diego! At the beach... Seashells... Scenery... "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,  The world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas,  And established it upon the waters." -Psalm 24:1-2 There was a hole in the ground that was connected to the ocean. There was a stream in it, and water flowed in and out with the waves.  It was pretty wide - maybe 3 or 4 feet at its width. Catherine decided to go for a challenge and jumped across! Tide pools... There were lots of plants, snails, and little crabs in the tide pools.  I wrote my name in the sand, just for fun. Everything in God's creation is so unique! I love the way the rocks at the beach are shaped - in some places they are smooth, and in other places they are jagged.  A little crab hiding underneath the rock: Uniquely shaped rocks: Seagull flying o...

Family Trip on May 1st!

Image
The first week of May is Chinese Labor Day, and we are traveling to a retreat! We rode the bus, and then transferred to the subway.  There were soooooo many people! After the first subway, we transferred onto another one! There were many people waiting at the doors as well. Inside the subway... As we got further into the trip, the subway traveled to more rural areas, and the crowd lessened. There were still lots of people, though! After two and a half hours, we arrived at our destination! The scenery outside was beautiful! Inside the hotel: The hotel also provided Buffet meals, which were delicious! All the little kids at the retreat wanted to sit next to Catherine for dinner! There are only two spots beside Catherine, so they all took turns sitting next to her.
