Image
Tuesday, June 16th 2020 We are in Arizona! We were so blessed to be able to visit the Grand Canyon! "O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—" -Psalm 104:26 My family at the Grand Canyon! Theodore, Anabel, and I (we took off masks just for the photo) The Raven/hawk at the beginning of the 5-minute trail to see the Grand Canyon. Rock formations. The Grand Canyon!!! photo by T.C. by T.C. On the trail: by T.C. by T.C. Trees in the desert: Between rocks: by T.C. Squirrel (all squirrel photos by T.C.) Tree growing on rocks: And finally... Freckles the bunny! Surely, these wonders of nature points to God! Something as majestic as the Grand Canyon could not have come about by chance, which proves that God is real. He is the Creator, from whom and through whom all things exist. May His name be praised and glorified!

Snow in Beijing (1/2020)

Image
January, 2020 Snow in Beijing, 2020! Anabel in the snow: Because of the dry climate, it doesn't snow very much here, so we were all SOOOOOOO excited for the snow! Everything is frosted with thin layers of soft, white snow. The trees are covered with snow. The bikes, too! Freckles the bunny! In the back seat of a bike: On top of a "tree stump"... In a basket: Now, with her friend Huggie the teddy bear! Let's add another friend to the picture - Anabel! Dusting the snow off Huggie... There we go! Huggie is safe, dry, warm, and clean. Footprints in the snow. The still, white world. Up toward the sky... Whose footprints? Shaking the snow off the trees: "He gives snow like wool ;  He scatters the frost like ashes" -Psalm 147:16 "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven , And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth fr...

Beijing DaXin Airport

Image
Beijing's new airport! Check in! Down the escalators! The airport has just opened, and there are relatively few people. Some terminals have not been used yet! Many new airlines will be flying to and from Beijing with the new airport! Still in construction, but it looks very fun inside! Restaurants and stores... even KFC! Art and beautiful designs hanging above! Vending machines: beverages, toys, collectibles, and much more! Wheelchairs, too! Lots of stores selling all kinds of things. Window shopping is so much fun (and it's free)! Airplane take-off Landing!
