Snow in Beijing (1/2020)

January, 2020

Snow in Beijing, 2020!

Anabel in the snow:

Because of the dry climate, it doesn't snow very much here, so we were all SOOOOOOO excited for the snow!

Everything is frosted with thin layers of soft, white snow.

The trees are covered with snow. The bikes, too!

Freckles the bunny!

In the back seat of a bike:

On top of a "tree stump"...

In a basket:

Now, with her friend Huggie the teddy bear!

Let's add another friend to the picture - Anabel!

Dusting the snow off Huggie...

There we go! Huggie is safe, dry, warm, and clean.

Footprints in the snow.

The still, white world.

Up toward the sky...

Whose footprints?

Shaking the snow off the trees:

"He gives snow like wool
He scatters the frost like ashes"
-Psalm 147:16

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:10-11
