This museum was one selectively chose by Catherine. She is very interested in war planes, and this museum displays tanks and planes that have been in the war.

We moved to the next exhibit, where there were lots of screens and computers. Below is us at the Conflict Simulator. At the Conflict Simulator, you get to be the President or Prime Minister of a country, and you get to make decisions that the President or Prime Minister would need to make.

Nearby was an exhibit with replicas of the atomic bombs, Little Boy and Fat Man.
Atomic Bombs Two ways to split an Atom
Nuclear explosions simply split an atom. An atom is tiny, something that we can't see. What then causes such a big explosion? The answer is found the chain reaction that follows. The splitting of the first atom causes the surrounding atoms to split, and those atoms cause cause their surrounding atoms to split. The chain reaction continues like ripples in the water when a pebble is thrown into a pond.
We also learned about Einstein's letter to President Roosevelt.
There were also big, interactive screens with details about each war.

In your Life...
Technology is getting better and better. One day, tickets to space will be available to all, just like airplane tickets. But no matter how high we soar in the sky of technology, we must remember to always give God the glory for giving us our talents and abilities.
Always Give God the Glory!
Another lesson to be learned is about War. War is cruel. War kills innocent civilians. Both sides lose. Everyone is hurt. Let us be peacemakers and keep peace at home, outside, and wherever we go.
Yes, to God be the glory! May we all be peacemakers... starting from home and everywhere we go! Nice photos and great side notes. Love, mom.
