Our New Invention: Coconut Cream Pancakes!!!

Today, my mom invented a new delicious dish - Coconut Cream Pancakes!

Ingredients: Flour, Water, Coconut Cream, Oil, Sugar.

 All you do is simply mix the ingredients together...


And then cook it on the pan!

 Mmm... they tasted SOOOOOOOOO good!

 Enjoy! :)

We got to visit lots of playgrounds in Israel! They are different from the ones in the U.S. and they are really fun! This playground was in the Old City, Jerusalem.  The swing was really fun! The park was really fun! You could slide down and also climb up! Sliding down! There were also two long blue slides! We also got to visit two parks in Tel Aviv. The first park was like an amusement park. It had like 20+ swings! This park also had two of the swings that we saw in Jerusalem! This park also had a giant playground with at least 12 slides! There was something that you could go on and it would take you down to the ground! Near this park in Tel Aviv was another park. It was really fun, too. Chi-Chi the Chick

Hello everyone! I am Chi-Chi ( pronounced "chee-chee") the Chick! I was born on August 23rd, 2018. This is me hatching: When I came out of the egg, I looked kind of dead: But when I became fluffy, I was just the opposite! I started pecking at the other eggs! You see, I just wanted a friend. Finally, one of my siblings started to hatch! I was sooooooo excited! Then something went wrong and the temperature dropped. I don't know why, but my sibling stopped breathing. In the end, I turned out to be the only chick that hatched successfully. In the beginning, I was given cooked white rice to eat. I tried a piece, but I guess I just didn't like the taste. Instead I nestled down and sat right on top of the rice pan! Then, I got seeds to eat. I think they were chia seeds or sesame seeds or something like that, but anyways, they tasted REALLY good! Grand Canyon (6/16)

Tuesday, June 16th 2020 We are in Arizona! We were so blessed to be able to visit the Grand Canyon! "O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—" -Psalm 104:26 My family at the Grand Canyon! One of my favorite things in Israel is the food! I LOVE food, and every country and culture has its own unique type of food. Israel is no exception! In the Bible, God promised to bring the Israelites into Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey . The seven biblical fruits of Israel are: Wheat Barley Grapes Figs Pomegranates Olives Dates Although these 7 fruits are the 7 special fruits of Israel, but there are also lots of other delicious food in Israel! Pacific Science Center (Seattle)

My favorite part about Science Centers are the interactive displays.  The Pacific Science Center had lots of interactive, hands-on displays! We all had a great time at the Science Center. The Well-body Academy of Health and Wellness is an exhibit for kids that teaches you how to take care of your body and stay in good health. There are four areas in the Well-body exhibit: Food and Nutrition, Sleep, Exercise, and Hygiene. At the Food and Nutrition  area, we learned to eat healthy foods and the correct amount of Calories. In the Sleep  Exhibit, I learned that we need to sleep enough. Exercise is very important for health. Hygiene Let's go upstairs to the WELLBODY LOFT! Exercise well, Eat well, Sleep well, Wash well, and LIVE well! The Age Your Face  Display showed you the bad effects of smoking, UV exposure, and obesity on aging. Looking Back - the 8 days of Sukkot in Jerusalem

Looking back, so many things happened this Sukkot in Israel! It was amazing!!! Day 1 On the first day and almost every day throughout the 8 days of Sukkot, we had a lot of fun playing in the Independence Park with kids from Israel and from all over the world. In the evening of the first day of Sukkot, we also attended a worship service in a sukkah at Roeh Israel (Netivyah) . It was amazing meeting people from all over the world, from Germany, England, America, Korea, and Romania! Day 2 On Tuesday, the second day of Sukkot, we visited  the Israel Museum  and had fun watching the kite festival. Day 3 On Wednesday, day 3 of Sukkot, we played at  the Independence park  again and joined some friends in their sukkah at French Hill for a fellowship BBQ. The Jerusalem March takes place each year during Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) in Jerusalem. People from all over the world (mostly Christians) come to Jerusalem and participate in the Jerusalem March to show their love for Israel. It is really amazing! Anabel and Theodore got lots of flags from the marchers. The ICEJ. There are marchers from all over the world! Popsicles in Taiwan!

More about Taiwan... We got to eat delicious home-made popsicles in Taiwan! Popsicles are one of the special local products in this part of Taiwan.  Below is Theodore and I in front of the popsicle store: The word in front of the store,  "冰",  is pronounced "bing" . It means "ice", and it can stand for cold desserts like ice cream, shaved ice, and popsicles.. Each of us chose a different flavor!  Daddy chose durian , Mommy chose taro , Catherine chose pineapple , Anabel chose milk , Theodore chose black sugar , and I chose passion fruit . We were very happy that we could find one that Theodore could eat (he has allergy)! Daddy finished first, and then Catherine! Anabel and Theodore took their time and finished last! :) The popsicles were SUPER delicious!!! Below are the wrappers of all our popsicles (except for Daddy's). The Shuk in Israel

Whenever someone asks me, "What is your favorite place that you visited in Israel?", I always answer, "The Shuk". "Shuk" means "street market" in Hebrew. I love going to the Shuk. The Shuk is always full of life and bustling with people. It is a very exciting place to visit in Jerusalem. There are the most people in the Shuk on Friday morning. This is because the Shuk closes early on Friday because of Shabbat and everyone needs to buy extra food ahead of time. Here is a picture of one of the emptier streets in the Shuk: Almost every type of food is sold in the Shuk: meat, vegetables, fruit, bread, grains, rice, spices, dessert, candy, and packaged food. The most colorful and attractive shops of the Shuk sell candy. We don't buy candy, but it looks very tempting.
