Aboard the High Speed Rail in Taiwan!!!

Welcome to the High Speed Rail in Taiwan!

We are going to Xin Zhu today to visit some friends. On the High Speed Rail, it is one stop (30 minutes) from Taichong to Xin Zhu.

For lunch, we ate the High Speed Rail lunch box. We bought 3 lunch boxes, and we shared each between two people (there are 6 of us). Each lunch box costs 100 Taiwanese Yuan (about $3.25 USD). There are 3 lunch boxes to choose from: Pork, Beef, and Vegetarian.

We love eating vegetables, so we ordered the Vegetarian Lunch box. Inside the lunch box was purple rice, cabbage, vegetables, pumpkin, mushroom, and ginger.

We usually don't eat take-out food, so this was a special treat. Below is Theodore enjoying his meal on the High Speed Rail!

The box of the meal had a picture of Taiwan with lots of adorable animals on it.

After eating the High Speed Rail Lunchbox, I started to like eating ginger! I used to be afraid of eating ginger, but now I actually like eating ginger.

Transportation in Taiwan is convenient, but not exactly cheap. A one-way ticket costs 410 Taiwanese yuan for an adult, and 205 for a child (11 yrs. old and under).
