Flying from Fuzhou to Beijing!

After 2 and a half weeks in Fuzhou, we returned to Beijing. Our flight was from around 4-7pm.

We flew on Xiamen Airlines, which is our favorite Chinese domestic airline. They have very good service.

This is the view of the airport as we took off!

After a while, we began to see clouds below.

Slowly, the clouds became more and more until all we could see were white clouds and the blue sky. We had about an hour of clouds. God's creation is really beautiful and amazing!

"Do you know when God dispatches them, And causes the light of His cloud to shine? Do you know how the clouds are balanced, Those wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?"
-Job 37:15-16

There were A LOT of clouds. Sometimes, we went through a big cloud, and all we could see outside the window was a grayish-white color. Occasionally, you could even see a rainbow in the cloud!

"The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."
-Genesis 9:16

Soon, the sun began to set, and we could see the moon in the distance.

"He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows its going down."
-Psalm 104:19

The clouds below looked a bit like little ripples in the ocean.

Sunset outside the window:

As the sun began to set, the moon looked clearer and bigger. There was a full moon that day, so the moon looked very beautiful.

We are a delicious dinner on the plane.
There was rice with vegetables, carrots, onions, and raddish. We also had a box with a banana, and a container of coconut jelly inside. For drinks, we had a choice of red bean juice, coconut milk-juice, orange juice, wan-lao-ji (a chinese drink), tea, or soda.

I chose orange juice. I also tried the red bean drink, and it tasted really good, too.

Main meal:

Juice:

Coconut Jelly:

After the meal, we wrote thank-you notes on the boxes, and when the flight attendants received them, they were very happy.

Soon, the sun set, and it became dark outside. The moon looked like this:

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?"
-Psalm 8:3-4

Soon afterwards, we arrived safely in Beijing! Praise the Lord!
