This year was my first year taking in-person classes at Santiago Canyon College. Previously, I had been taking online classes. I learned many things and had so much fun. I am so thankful for this opportunity to take classes at college!

Looking back, so many things happened this Sukkot in Israel! It was amazing!!! Day 1 On the first day and almost every day throughout the 8 days of Sukkot, we had a lot of fun playing in the Independence Park with kids from Israel and from all over the world. In the evening of the first day of Sukkot, we also attended a worship service in a sukkah at Roeh Israel (Netivyah) . It was amazing meeting people from all over the world, from Germany, England, America, Korea, and Romania! Day 2 On Tuesday, the second day of Sukkot, we visited  the Israel Museum  and had fun watching the kite festival. Day 3 On Wednesday, day 3 of Sukkot, we played at  the Independence park  again and joined some friends in their sukkah at French Hill for a fellowship BBQ. At the Beach in San Diego!

Weekend family trip to San Diego! At the beach... Seashells... Scenery... "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,  The world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas,  And established it upon the waters." -Psalm 24:1-2 There was a hole in the ground that was connected to the ocean. There was a stream in it, and water flowed in and out with the waves.  It was pretty wide - maybe 3 or 4 feet at its width. Catherine decided to go for a challenge and jumped across! Tide pools... There were lots of plants, snails, and little crabs in the tide pools.  I wrote my name in the sand, just for fun. Everything in God's creation is so unique! Grand Canyon (6/16)

Tuesday, June 16th 2020 We are in Arizona! We were so blessed to be able to visit the Grand Canyon! "O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—" -Psalm 104:26 My family at the Grand Canyon! Playgrounds in Israel

We got to visit lots of playgrounds in Israel! They are different from the ones in the U.S. and they are really fun! This playground was in the Old City, Jerusalem.  The swing was really fun! The park was really fun! You could slide down and also climb up! Sliding down! There were also two long blue slides! We also got to visit two parks in Tel Aviv. The first park was like an amusement park. It had like 20+ swings! This park also had two of the swings that we saw in Jerusalem! This park also had a giant playground with at least 12 slides! There was something that you could go on and it would take you down to the ground! Near this park in Tel Aviv was another park. It was really fun, too. The Jerusalem March

The Jerusalem March takes place each year during Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) in Jerusalem. People from all over the world (mostly Christians) come to Jerusalem and participate in the Jerusalem March to show their love for Israel. It is really amazing! Anabel and Theodore got lots of flags from the marchers. The ICEJ. There are marchers from all over the world! Marchers from Ivory Coast (Africa) Marchers from Austria: Marchers from New Zealand: More marchers! The mounted police are supervising on the right: Anabel and Theodore at the Jerusalem March. Marchers from Indonesia! There were also uncategorized marchers. There are flags and people from all over the world! Below are marchers from Guatemala! Below are marchers from Mexico and Maluku! It's so hard to believe that it's already the middle of July! Time passes so fast! Summer is half-over already! Highlights of this year's summer: Homeschooling Fair! We had the fun of hosting our own booth this year! Ice Cream and Pie eating contest! Playing basketball at Grijalva Park: Food! (homecooked!) Sweet potato fries (made by Grace) Taking classes at Santiago Canyon College: Weekend trip to San Diego! Bible Bee meetings at our Local Bee!!!! Pacific Science Center (Seattle)

My favorite part about Science Centers are the interactive displays.  The Pacific Science Center had lots of interactive, hands-on displays! We all had a great time at the Science Center. The Well-body Academy of Health and Wellness is an exhibit for kids that teaches you how to take care of your body and stay in good health. There are four areas in the Well-body exhibit: Food and Nutrition, Sleep, Exercise, and Hygiene. At the Food and Nutrition  area, we learned to eat healthy foods and the correct amount of Calories. In the Sleep  Exhibit, I learned that we need to sleep enough. Exercise is very important for health. Hygiene Let's go upstairs to the WELLBODY LOFT! Exercise well, Eat well, Sleep well, Wash well, and LIVE well! The Age Your Face  Display showed you the bad effects of smoking, UV exposure, and obesity on aging. Chi-Chi the Chick

Hello everyone! I am Chi-Chi ( pronounced "chee-chee") the Chick! I was born on August 23rd, 2018. This is me hatching: When I came out of the egg, I looked kind of dead: But when I became fluffy, I was just the opposite! I started pecking at the other eggs! You see, I just wanted a friend. Finally, one of my siblings started to hatch! I was sooooooo excited! Then something went wrong and the temperature dropped. I don't know why, but my sibling stopped breathing. In the end, I turned out to be the only chick that hatched successfully. In the beginning, I was given cooked white rice to eat. I tried a piece, but I guess I just didn't like the taste. Instead I nestled down and sat right on top of the rice pan! Then, I got seeds to eat. I think they were chia seeds or sesame seeds or something like that, but anyways, they tasted REALLY good! I love eating seeds! I got my name "Chi-Chi" (given by Theodore) because when I chirp, it so...
