Our beloved pet Froggy joined our family in October 2019.

Froggy loves hopping around and exploring the room!



He'll jump at any moment. Usually, when you see him turn his head and focus on an object far away, you know he's about to jump!


Froggy's favorite foods are crickets and other creepy crawlies!

Looking back, so many things happened this Sukkot in Israel! It was amazing!!! Day 1 On the first day and almost every day throughout the 8 days of Sukkot, we had a lot of fun playing in the Independence Park with kids from Israel and from all over the world. In the evening of the first day of Sukkot, we also attended a worship service in a sukkah at Roeh Israel (Netivyah) . It was amazing meeting people from all over the world, from Germany, England, America, Korea, and Romania! Day 2 On Tuesday, the second day of Sukkot, we visited  the Israel Museum  and had fun watching the kite festival. Day 3 On Wednesday, day 3 of Sukkot, we played at  the Independence park  again and joined some friends in their sukkah at French Hill for a fellowship BBQ. At the Beach in San Diego!

Weekend family trip to San Diego! At the beach... Seashells... Scenery... "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,  The world and those who dwell therein.  For He has founded it upon the seas,  And established it upon the waters." -Psalm 24:1-2 There was a hole in the ground that was connected to the ocean. There was a stream in it, and water flowed in and out with the waves.  It was pretty wide - maybe 3 or 4 feet at its width. Catherine decided to go for a challenge and jumped across! Tide pools... There were lots of plants, snails, and little crabs in the tide pools.  I wrote my name in the sand, just for fun. Everything in God's creation is so unique! Playgrounds in Israel

We got to visit lots of playgrounds in Israel! They are different from the ones in the U.S. and they are really fun! This playground was in the Old City, Jerusalem.  The swing was really fun! The park was really fun! You could slide down and also climb up! Sliding down! There were also two long blue slides! We also got to visit two parks in Tel Aviv. The first park was like an amusement park. It had like 20+ swings! This park also had two of the swings that we saw in Jerusalem! This park also had a giant playground with at least 12 slides! There was something that you could go on and it would take you down to the ground! Near this park in Tel Aviv was another park. It was really fun, too. Multnomah Falls

     Since Multnomah Falls is really close to Bonneville Dam, we went there after we visited Bonneville Dam. Multnomah Falls, at a distance, after we parked our car. We went to the Visitor Center and did the Junior Ranger Program.  I also talked with a volunteer worker who was at the desk.  He was an old man, and he had been volunteering since 1989.      "You should really go on the bridge," he said, "It only takes 5 minutes to walk up there."      He continued, "If it takes 5 minutes to get up there, how long do you suppose it will take to get down?"      Without thinking, I said, "Well, it takes 5 minute to get to the bridge, but if you jump down, I think it will only take a few seconds."      I continued, after a short pause, "But, of course, we won't jump.  We'll probably take the same trail back down.  I suppose that will be about 5 minutes too." The Jerusalem March

The Jerusalem March takes place each year during Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles) in Jerusalem. People from all over the world (mostly Christians) come to Jerusalem and participate in the Jerusalem March to show their love for Israel. It is really amazing! Anabel and Theodore got lots of flags from the marchers. The ICEJ. There are marchers from all over the world! Marchers from Ivory Coast (Africa) Marchers from Austria: Marchers from New Zealand: More marchers! The mounted police are supervising on the right: Anabel and Theodore at the Jerusalem March. It's so hard to believe that it's already the middle of July! Time passes so fast! Summer is half-over already! Highlights of this year's summer: Homeschooling Fair! We had the fun of hosting our own booth this year! Ice Cream and Pie eating contest! Playing basketball at Grijalva Park: Food! (homecooked!) Sweet potato fries (made by Grace) Taking classes at Santiago Canyon College: Weekend trip to San Diego! Bible Bee meetings at our Local Bee!!!! Pacific Science Center (Seattle)

My favorite part about Science Centers are the interactive displays.  The Pacific Science Center had lots of interactive, hands-on displays! We all had a great time at the Science Center. The Well-body Academy of Health and Wellness is an exhibit for kids that teaches you how to take care of your body and stay in good health. There are four areas in the Well-body exhibit: Food and Nutrition, Sleep, Exercise, and Hygiene. At the Food and Nutrition  area, we learned to eat healthy foods and the correct amount of Calories. In the Sleep  Exhibit, I learned that we need to sleep enough. Exercise is very important for health. Hygiene Let's go upstairs to the WELLBODY LOFT! Exercise well, Eat well, Sleep well, Wash well, and LIVE well! The Age Your Face  Display showed you the bad effects of smoking, UV exposure, and obesity on aging. Studying for the NBB - Overview of Colossians

     We are currently in Texas. After many days of traveling between states (driving), we have arrived here at last. I have a lot of studying to catch up on! To help myself remember the content of each verse in Colossians I summarized the surface content of each chapter with words and pictures. Below are each of the four chapters: Chapter one Chapter two Chapter three Chapter four      Well, after doing many practice tests (and the official test for qualifying to Nationals), I realized that not only did I need to know the content of each memory passage/cross-reference, I also needed to know the context . At Locals, I filled my 'Cross-reference list' with notes.
